Merchant Management System
Merchant Management System offers full support in merchant management, starting with the merchant acquisition process managed by sales agents, ending with settlements carried out in accordance with individual contracts.

Merchant Settlement
The solution allows creation of highly parametrizable settlement profile with defined settlement account, netting and invoicing details for each merchant.
Dates of validity of commissions for the merchant (e.g. promotional periods) can be defined.
The solution allows to configure settlement schedule with the merchant (e.g. D+X, Selected days of the month) and provides necessary data to DBM for settlement files generation.
Merchant fees and commission calculation
The solution allows the creation of fee profiles, i.e. a set of fee codes and definitions that describe the terms specified in the contract signed with a client.

Invoicing
The solution supports the process of issuing invoices for Merchants.

The solution offers a great variety of reports that facilitate monitoring of sales, POS terminals activity and retention, the parameters of reports are defined in the settlement profiles.
Various forms of distribution are possible :

• Analytical report for Merchants – monthly and daily reports on transactions completed in the Merchants terminals

Clearing
The solution offers the following key assumptions and features:
• 24h business day with unlimited number of clearing sessions.
• In case of multi-acquiring, DBM can support a great number of Acquirer BINs/ICAs.
• Compliant with VISA/Mastercard rules.
• Clearing is processed separately for each payment organization.
• Clearing is completed every day & it is mandatory to close a previous day in order to proceed to clearing.
• Generated files are in BASEII format for VISA and IPM (EBCDIC) for Mastercard and sent to VISA/Mastercard (outside DBM).
DBM
DBM allows for:
• Daily and periodic settlement of transactions between market players.
• Reconciliation of different device types (e.g. ATM, POS, BNA, dual devices).
• Reconciliation of a wide variety of transaction types: cash deposits, withdrawals, top-ups.
• Calculating interchange fees, processing costs as well as other fees and commissions.
• Settlement of differences and deficits, including automated support of their root cause identification.
since settlement occurs on the same day as clearing and the reports are loaded on next day at the earliest.
Claims
Main functionalities of claims system:
• Compatibility with VISA/Mastercard standards – possibility to use WebServices to VROL and Mastercom.
• Handling Chargeback, Representment and other similar messages – both incoming and outgoing.
• Automation of in-house claims procedures.
• Integration of information in one database, all the information necessary to examine the client’s claim in one place.

Merchant Risk Management (MRM)
Merchant Risk Monitoring allows transaction monitoring on the Acquirer side.
The system processes authorization data and selects suspicious behavior.
Suspicious cases generate alerts which are analyzed by operators.
2 types of monitoring are possible :
• ONLINE – during authorization – allows transaction blocking (direct impact on the authorization)
• OFFLINE – analysis of transaction data (authorization and clearing). Based on defined rules, MRM detects suspicious activity and generates alerts for operators
